With Startup Weekend 2 (SW2) coming up soon, we are excited to announce that SCV Startup and the Santa Clarita Startup Weekend organizers will be hosting a Pitch Competition at the soon-to-open Pocock Brewing!
Todd Tisdell and Geoff Pocock, the owners, even said they would have a special Startup-Weekend-edition-brew waiting for us. You will have the opportunity to make your pitch and receive feedback on it, which is critical to launching your startup. Your refined pitch will give you a leg-up at theSW2 Friday evening pitch. Additionally, the attendee with the best pitch will receive a free ticket to SW2! ($99 value, baby!)

We’re a month out and since the last update, big things have solidified and the event organizers continue to work tirelessly to make this experience even more awesome! Over the last month we’ve added loads of judges, coaches, and sponsors. We have several more of each we are still pursuing, including two more judges, a speaker for Friday night, another workshop for Sunday, and a few more prizes. Get the latest on SW2!
